A couple of years ago Karen and Heath got Danny this fake snow kit. At first I thought it made snow- as in wet and cold. Really it makes this messy stuff. I really think it is the same stuff that is in diapers. You add water and it explodes but is also kind of sticky- as in it won't sweep up:) I found it in the closet today and thought it would be a fun snowy day activity. Well it is very fun for the boys but I may spend the rest of the day trying to come up with creative ways to clean my kitchen. Even now I am yelling at Andrew to stop throwing it and it is all in his hair. Thanks Savy and KK:) Just wait...

You know, just bringing in a bucket of REAL snow is a lot easier to clean up!!
Ha!!!! I am guessing this was before Emma!! It's funny what seems like a good idea before kids. I am sure they would never give that to you now.
In all fairness to them- I think they thought it made snow too- the cold wet kind:)
Toooo funny! I would have probably bought it, too, I bet, thinking of how fun it would be. But from looking at the pictures I think I would have opened the package, seen the consistancy of it and said "no way" and tossed it asap before the boys got hold of it!!! You are more brave than I, dear girl. Bring on the rice anyday over that stuff!
(PS of course your boys look like they LOVED every second of it!!! With boys it truly is "the messier the better" in their minds.)

LOL - so I was a bad blog reader and didn't even read this post until just now after reading everyone's comments....i had just looked at the pictures and assumed you had done what Jenny said - brought in snow for them to play with! Too funny - and YES - I did think it made "real" snow....sorry:(
