He did it!!!

Danny had his first visit to the dentist today. He does not do well in new situations like this so I had my doubts that he would actually come out with clean teeth. He has been so excited all week- telling everyone that he is going to the dentist. When we got there he wanted to look at everything and kept asking the dentist what each tool did. This was just a stalling tactic I think because when she asked him to get in the chair he said he didn't want to and it took some convincing to get him up there. When she told him she was going to make the chair move up he got scared thinking he was going up really high:) Then he actually opened his mouth for her! You can see in the pictures that at first he was a little tense but by the end he was relaxing with his hands behind his head:) The only thing he refused to do was "Mr. Thirsty" the thing that sucks the water out of your mouth. But really if I could refuse "Mr.Thirsty" I would too- I hate that thing. So the whole trip went very smoothly due mostly to the motivating force of the treasure box that he got to pick two prizes from at the end of the cleaning. He is very proud of his shiny teeth!
