Andrew's teeth...sorry for the gross pictures.

My boys seem to always fall and hit there mouths. I remember Danny
getting a large fat lip soon after he started walking and he just had
one last week. I am always amazed that their teeth haven't gone
through their mouths and that they haven't knocked any teeth
out...Until today. It was inevitable. Andrew tripped as he was
pushing a car and must have hit his teeth on the car or the hardwood
floor. At first I thought it was just another fat lip until I looked
in his mouth. His two front teeth were bleeding (and still are a
little) at the gums and his gums are black. It looks very gross and
very painful but he actually hasn't fussed or complained at all except
a few times when he was eating and forgot to not sue his front teeth.
I called the dentist and they wanted to see him. They said he bumped
them pretty good but after x-rays everything was found to be fine-
Thank you, God! I was a little nervous he wold be front toothless for
the next few years. They said they still may turn gray but they
looked good so maybe not. Poor kid- he is definitely very tough! The last picture is the car that he got for doing such a great job at the dentist. He has never been to the dentist before and doesn't even know what the dentist is I don't think. He wasn't scared and let them do all they needed to do- no problems.

Oh my GOOD.ness. Poor boy! And poor Mumma! I'm so glad all is well and he gets to keep his front teeth for a little while longer. :-) Good job being such a good boy at the dentist, Andrew!!! Mrs. Jen is proud of you!

Hey Kristin.
Hannah fell off a tall stool in our kitchen when she was 2 and we had to take her to the ER because she pushed the tooth back and they had to move it. We've just been keeping an eye on it and doing the x-rays (you can imagine how fun that is with a 2 year old). Her one tooth turned grey, but it hasn't fallen out so we're hopeful it will stay there for a bit longer. Thinking back, I think she fell on the same tooth about 6 months ago and it was loose, but I told her not to wiggle it and it stayed in place. Pretty resilient things kids, huh!

Oh my! Poor Andrew, that looks so painful yet he seems quite brave! So thankful that it wasn't any worse, yikes!
