Blueberry picking

I have finally downloaded my pictures and I am back to blogging. I have a ton of pictures from this summer and our vacation that I will post later.

We had a great day today! I have been wanting to go blueberry picking so at the last minute today I decided to bring the kids and go. I am so glad I did because it was the last day they were open for the season and also because it was so nice and peaceful there and the kids really enjoyed it.

I kept Andrew in the stroller most of the time but every chance he got he was reaching for blueberries. He didn't care what they looked like- green, squishy, whatever. He would cry if he went a minute or so without a berry. I am glad he likes them but I am nervous for the diaper situation tomorrow!

Danny loved picking blueberries. I think he loved the independence most of all- it was very quiet so I let him be a row or two away from me while he was picking. Plus he loved the challenge of filling up his container- for Daddy. For some crazy reason the kid doesn't like blueberries that much.

So glad you're blogging again! The kids look like they had a great time! We'll all have to go apple picking this fall:)

I took the boys over to pick blueberries on Thursday and the berry place here in town was closed for the season! Booo!

(thank goodness I hadn't told them where we were going, so they weren't that disappointed!)

They're looking forward to apple picking again this year. (even though Mommy can't eat any apples!!! Double BOO!!!!)
